Basiliscus & Marcus, 475-476. Solidus (Gold, 19 mm, 4.46 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. D N bASILISCI ET MARCIC Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Basiliscus facing, his head turned slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG A / CONOB Victory standing left, holding long jeweled cross; in field to right, star. Depeyrot 105/1. Künker 168 (2010), 7973 corr. (same obverse die, but missatributed to RIC 1024). RIC 1020 (same obverse die). Extremely rare with this obverse legend. Slightly rough and wavy, otherwise, good very fine.
